The Council is again actively seeking feedback from residents about whether they are happy with its services, facilities and performance. “It is important to us that we have accurate and up to date information on how current services are regarded,” says Chief Executive Gary Simpson. “The best way to obtain this is to interview a representative cross-section of people, and to have this done by an independent group to ensure impartiality.” Interviewing is being conducted by National Research Bureau (NRB). It started on Friday 15 February and should be completed by the middle of March. Residents from throughout the City will be randomly selected and contacted by a door-to-door interviewer, and asked their opinions on the services the Council delivers to the residents of the City. The survey is totally con dential, and results will form part of the Council’s formal reporting. They are also a critical ingredient in planning for further improvements to Council’s delivery of services.
