Rugby is great fun to play; it keeps you fit, you get to meet new, exciting people and anyone can play!

Junior rugby is for boys and girls under the age of 13 (as of 1st January 2012) There are different grades of rugby dependant on age and weight. If you are graded in the under 6 to under 8 you will be playing non-tackle rugby, those in higher grades will play full contact rugby. If you are a girl you will be playing in a girl’s only team. Rippa rugby allows people to play non-tackle rugby using tags that can be pulled (ripped) off to show the tackle instead of contact. It encourages juniors to share possession between them in a safe game as kicking is not aloud. Junior rugby is really fun and is simple to pick up, it helps you with your ball handling and possession skills which contribute greatly to your overall rugby skills! We think you’ll get a big kick out of it, so get your mates together and come and join for 2013!

Pass it on!
