Dancers do it again

Kapi-Mana News - - SPORT -

Infinite Dance Crew has won the adult division of the Hip Hop Unite national championships for the fourth successive year.

Two of the dancers, Samara Reweti and Kirsten Ocampo, are from the Porirua area.

Infinite has been selected as the senior team to represent New Zealand at the world championships in Serbia in October.

Now Infinite dancers need to raise $40,000 to get the team plus a manager to the competition.

‘‘Last year Infinite was ranked third in the world, so we are aiming to go over to Serbia and bring back gold for New Zealand this time,’’ Infinite coach and director of Pump Dance Studios Libby Calder said.

The national championships were held in Lower Hutt on Saturday.
