Porirua res­i­dent and city coun­cil­lor Denys Latham took an edi­tion of his lo­cal news­pa­per on his over­seas trip in May. He was vis­it­ing fam­ily and friends in Eng­land, the United States and Canada and said he was keen to show them some lo­cal news from home.

Sev­eral peo­ple he knows who are based over­seas keep up with their Porirua and Tawa news in the Kapi-Mana News on­line edi­tion.
