Spring on show
Titahi Bay Horticultural Society is praying for good weather during this weekend’s spring flower show.
The annual event showcases the work of society members, including plants and produce.
Raffles and refreshments will also be available.
Titahi Bay Horticultural Society president Martin McKendrick said about 400 entries would be on display this weekend, depending on the weather.
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the best exhibit in each section.
A floral art demonstration will be held by Julie Burgess of the Whitby Floral Art Club on Saturday at 2pm.
