A new Sal­va­tion Army store has opened in Prosser St.

To cel­e­brate, it will hold an LP and book sale on Novem­ber 30 from 9am.

The store was lo­cated un­der the Canopies un­til it closed a year ago.

Items in­cluded fur­ni­ture, kitchen­ware, clothes, toys, LPs, books and an­tiques, man­ager Paul Bryant said.

‘‘We have much more space, so you can browse at your leisure,’’ he said.

A dona­tion

pick- up

is avail­able on Mon­day, Wed­nes­day and Fri­day, or do­na­tions can be dropped off at the store.

The Sal­va­tion Army Fam­ily Store is at 6 Prosser St, and is open Mon­day till Satur­day, 9am till 5pm.
