Fine wine

Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

I was particularly intrigued by headline above the interesting article (November 19) on the group of Summerset artists: ‘‘Porirua artists like a fine wine’’.

Do they really?

We received massive support from many local businesses for our charity auction at the end of the hot rod run.

Kapi-Mana News kindly published an article ‘‘Rodders boost for Ruby’’ along with photos of the charity run and auction events.

We would like to have these businesses recognised, thanked and supported by our community. Just as they have done for our local community. Western Bays Street Rodders has a Facebook page and our own website, which carries a list of the many supporting businesses.

This is one way for Western Bays Street Rodders to thank these businesses. Anyone can visit our website and see the list. They can then support these businesses when they need for a product or service they offer.

Please check the list out at westernbays.co.nz and support them. Adventure Park in Whitby the guys at Mexted Performance Sports Surfaces left up one of the signs from work we had done at Hagley Park in Christchurch renovating the international cricket wicket.

We’ll have our new signs up next time we’re working in Porirua!
