Hot rodders thank supporters

On November 3, Porirua hot rodders held a charity hot rod run.

This was not a hot rod run for the sake of it, but rather was a run with a charitable purpose.

This was Western Bays Street Rodders’ second year running of holding a charity hot rod run and auction in support of someone from our community.

This year we were raising funds for local girl, Ruby Penney, and her family.

Ruby suffers from Lyme disease, which she contracted from a tick bite on a family trip to Australia.

The associated ongoing medical treatments for Ruby have placed a tremendous burden upon the Penney family finances. This is where Western Bays Street Rodders stepped up to offer our club’s support to help the Penney family.
