Play­ers back Re­lay for Life with signed jersey

Some of the Hur­ri­canes’ Porirua play­ers do­nated a signed jersey to the Cancer So­ci­ety’s fundrais­ing event, Re­lay For Life Porirua, last week.

The jersey – size XXL – will be auc­tioned on Trade Me, with funds go­ing to sup­port those in Porirua af­fected by cancer.

Re­lay For Life is an in­ter­na­tional overnight walk­ing and run­ning event.

More than 4 mil­lion people par­tic­i­pate in 6000 events world­wide.

The Porirua Re­lay For Life takes place on March 15 and 16.
