Corrections to Titahi Bay story

Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

Our story ( February 11) about the Titahi Bay Residents Association annual meeting on February 8 contained errors.

When the Titahi Bay Residents’ and Ratepayers’ Association folded in 2005, $9326 was given to the Titahi Bay Residents Association, not $12,858.

The balance of the account has risen to the larger figure because of interest and other income.

The annual meeting, not the incoming committee, resolved to keep the subscription cost at $10.

Twenty-one days’ notice of the meeting was, in fact, given to financial members of the association, as required in its constitution.
