Children explored their wild sides at Mitre 10 Mega’s Columbus Coffee during the school holidays.

To mark Rio 2’ s arrival in New Zealand cinemas, children expressed their inner animals by having their faces painted like some of the film’s characters.

The cafe also had a kids’ corner, where children could watch the first Rio film, do activity sheets and colouring competitions, and devour themed ‘‘ fluffies’’ and cupcakes.

The cafe designed Columbus Jump, a free Rio 2 game for smart phones and tablets. High scores earned a complementary hot chocolate for children.
