Cannons Creek man guilty of sexual offending
Cannons Creek resident Larne Andrew Davies was convicted in Porirua District Court last week after sexually touching two girls under the age of 8 and sending pornographic images of children to an undercover police officer.
The 42-year-old fatherof-three was red-faced and silent when he appeared before Judge John Walker.
He pleaded guilty to 12 charges of indecent assault, sexual violation and possession of objectionable material.
Police said Davies identified the two girls as vulnerable and said he knew they were about 6 or 7 years old.
The offending began in 2012 and continued until this March.
Davies’ activities were brought to a halt when he was caught sending objectionable material on the internet to an undercover police officer.
Davies was remanded in custody until July 4, when he will appear in Wellington District Court.
