State hous­ing needs at­ten­tion

The man liv­ing in his car (May 27) was in a bad sit­u­a­tion with health is­sues. Sin­gle men have al­ways had no voice.

The boarded-up homes at the Bay and Lin­den are a dis­grace. You would think the as­bestos could be re­moved.

New su­per-clad or what­ever could be put on these homes to free up the pres­sure of hous­ing. People don’t need high, high stan­dards – all show – just some­thing prac­ti­cal is needed.

Also, there are va­cant un­boarded homes in Lin­den.
