‘‘Get me out of this armpit.’’

That’s what we imagine the schoolboy in this picture is thinking.

Murray Tamihana looks less than impressed to be headlocked against the barely clad man’s chest.

A few of our Facebook followers seemed to remember this day in 2000.

Kaidazmis Ngatai said the man with the fierce look and the muscular body was his old form teacher at Porirua College, Mr Williams.

‘‘ He was training for world strongman and bodybuilding champs . . . Saw him at the Sevens this year and he’s still a tank,’’ he said.

Two of the girls on the left, Kyler Parai and Para Solomon, were identified.

The third is still unknown.

The old school yard: Murray Tamihana finds himself in a headlock from his teacher, Mr Williams. Kyler Parai and Para Solomon look on.
