Children were jumping for joy at Wellington’s first indoor tramp park when it opened in Porirua last week.

The park, opened by the owners of Dialled Indoor Skate and Tramp Park in Mt Maunganui, is in the Porirua MegaCentre.

The impressive new 600- square metre tramp park hosts floor tramps, wall tramps, a rock climbing wall and a massive foam pit.

Owner Kelvin Travers said the Mt Maunganui park had given children and adults a chance to get off the couch and out from behind the computer screen.

He said the new park fitted the bill for providing Wellington with an active healthy and fun environment.

The park was perfect for those wanting to practise their latest moves in a safe, supervised environment or who simply want to have fun on the trampolines.

Stylish: The foam pit provides a soft landing for Samuel Marshell’s moves.
