Pulse draw yet to be decided
The number of netball games to be played in Porirua by the Haier Pulse in the ANZ Championship next year will be decided shortly.
The Pulse have been training and playing at least two games per season in Porirua since 2011. The package to entice them to the city includes free use of Te Rauparaha Arena.
A draw for the 2015 competition had not been done, Pulse chief executive Carolyn Young said. Once that was available, games in Wellington, Palmerston North, Napier and Porirua would be allocated using key criteria such as venue size and availability.
‘‘ Te Rauparaha Arena has served us well as the home of the Pulse, attracting sellout crowds, and tickets have been in very short supply from the moment they have gone on sale,’’ Young said.
