Chief executive swaps palace for South Island
The chief executive of Mana Recovery has announced her resignation.
Elizabeth Meaclem has been in charge of the organisation, which operates Trash Palace, since 2010, but is leaving at the end of July.
She said she and her husband were leaving to pursue a lifestyle change in the South Island.
Chairperson of the Mana Recovery Trust, Jenny Brash, said Mea- clem has made an enormous contribution to the organisation during the last four years and wished her and her husband well for their future.
Following Meaclem’s departure on July 29, Dusty Hindle will be interim general manager of Mana Recovery.
Hindle is manager of the organisation’s recycling and grounds maintenance services.
