Chief ex­ec­u­tive swaps palace for South Is­land

The chief ex­ec­u­tive of Mana Re­cov­ery has an­nounced her res­ig­na­tion.

El­iz­a­beth Mea­clem has been in charge of the or­gan­i­sa­tion, which op­er­ates Trash Palace, since 2010, but is leav­ing at the end of July.

She said she and her hus­band were leav­ing to pur­sue a life­style change in the South Is­land.

Chair­per­son of the Mana Re­cov­ery Trust, Jenny Brash, said Mea- clem has made an enor­mous con­tri­bu­tion to the or­gan­i­sa­tion dur­ing the last four years and wished her and her hus­band well for their fu­ture.

Fol­low­ing Mea­clem’s de­par­ture on July 29, Dusty Hin­dle will be in­terim gen­eral man­ager of Mana Re­cov­ery.

Hin­dle is man­ager of the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s re­cy­cling and grounds main­te­nance ser­vices.
