New nutty slab now on offer
Chocoholics are going to become crunchy nutters if Whittaker’s has any say in it.
The Wellington company has launched a Honey Nut Crunch Slab, made from 33 per cent cocoa milk chocolate, manuka honey flakes, and a mix of honey-coated and roasted whole peanuts.
‘‘ We’re obviously very proud of the success of our Peanut Slab, and the fact that they’re commonly referred to as a Kiwi icon, so we’ll never change that recipe,’’ Holly Whittaker said.
‘‘At the same time, we’re an expanding company that’s constantly looking to innovate – Honey Nut Crunch is a delicious new variation on one of our all-time greats.’’
The slab is available from chocolate retailers and comes in single or triple packs.
The slab also features all new packaging which will be rolled out to the whole slab range – the first change to the slab wrappers in 30 years.
