New nutty slab now on of­fer

Cho­co­holics are go­ing to be­come crunchy nutters if Whit­taker’s has any say in it.

The Welling­ton com­pany has launched a Honey Nut Crunch Slab, made from 33 per cent co­coa milk choco­late, manuka honey flakes, and a mix of honey-coated and roasted whole peanuts.

‘‘ We’re ob­vi­ously very proud of the suc­cess of our Peanut Slab, and the fact that they’re com­monly re­ferred to as a Kiwi icon, so we’ll never change that recipe,’’ Holly Whit­taker said.

‘‘At the same time, we’re an ex­pand­ing com­pany that’s con­stantly look­ing to in­no­vate – Honey Nut Crunch is a de­li­cious new vari­a­tion on one of our all-time greats.’’

The slab is avail­able from choco­late re­tail­ers and comes in sin­gle or triple packs.

The slab also fea­tures all new pack­ag­ing which will be rolled out to the whole slab range – the first change to the slab wrap­pers in 30 years.
