United Future leader Peter Dunne, Parliament’s longest-serving MP, is giving no sign that he plans to leave any time soon.

In a speech to Tawa Rotary last week, a day after his 30-anniversary in Parlia- ment, the Ohariu MP said on many days he felt as though he had ‘‘ only just begun’’.

Initially a Labour MP, Dunne has since served as a minister in two Labour and two National governments.
