The Council recently spent two days on retreat to kick start planning for the development of the Council’s Long Term Plan (LTP) 2015-25. This Plan sets out what direction the Council will take the city over the next 10 years, the services we’ll provide and how much these will cost. The development of the strategic framework including priorities for the city, and a level of service review are two key components that the Council is working on over the next couple of months. We will be keeping you updated between now and Christmas as the Council formulates its thinking and we will give you an opportunity to give your feedback so we can include it in the draft LTP. A formal consultation period will be held in April next year and the Plan will be nalised in June 2015.
