Sevens tickets going cheaper

Rugby fans have received good news with the decision that tickets for next year’s Sevens tournament in Wellington now cost as little as $149.

General admission prices are $149 and premium zone tickets are $195. Children’s prices remain at $40.

Sevens Wellington general manager Steve Dunbar said the move reflected the determination of organisers to ensure the tournament remained a must-do event in 2015 on the Wellington entertainment calendar.

‘‘There is nothing like a full house at Westpac Stadium to watch the sevens and we think these prices represent great value,’’ he said.
