The let­ter said the cor­po­ra­tion ex­pected to have a part­ner­ship agree­ment in place by mid to late 2012. March 2012: Lack of in­ter­est from pri­vate sec­tor and so­cial hous­ing providers. Novem­ber 2012: An­swers to writ­ten par­lia­men­tary ques­tions re­veal limited ex­pres­sions of in­ter­est for Cas­tor Loop. Hous­ing New Zealand re­con­sid­ers op­tions. Septem­ber 2013: An­swers to writ­ten par­lia­men­tary ques­tions re­veal Hous­ing New Zealand is con­sid­er­ing op­tions for re­de­vel­op­ment and will be in the po­si­tion to dis­cuss by the end of the year. Novem­ber 2014: Mana MP Kris Faafoi ques­tions Min­is­ter of Hous­ing Bill English in par­lia­men­tary ques­tion time over the de­mo­li­tion of houses in Haz­ard Grove and Esk Place.
