Named one of NZ’s best pathways
The Te Ara Piko pathway along the shores of the Pauatahanui Inlet has been recognised again as a top walking track. It’s a nalist in the Living Streets Aotearoa awards, in the Best Walking Facility in New Zealand category. The pathway is a joint project between the Council and Plimmerton Rotary and stretches 3.4 kms between Motukaraka Point and Pauatahanui village through salt marshes and a bird wildlife reserve. Find out more about the walkway and see a stunning birds-eye video of the pathway at www.pcc. govt.nz – search Te Ara Piko.
