In­ter­net television break­through

The world’s lead­ing in­ter­net television sub­scrip­tion ser­vice is set to be launched in New Zealand in March.

Net­flix of­fers orig­i­nal se­ries, movies, doc­u­men­taries and television shows for a monthly price. Orig­i­nal se­ries available at the time of the launch in­clude Marco Polo, BoJack Horse­man and All Hail King Julien.

The ser­vice will be available at on tele­vi­sions, tablets and smart­phones, com­put­ers and a range of In­ter­net-ca­pa­ble game con­soles and set-top boxes.

With more than 53 mil­lion mem­bers, Net­flix is the world’s lead­ing in­ter­net television net­work.

The in­clu­sion of New Zealand and Aus­tralia will bring the num­ber of coun­tries and ter­ri­to­ries us­ing Net­flix ser­vice to more than 50.

Net­flix is available to mem­bers in the United States, Canada, Latin Amer­ica, Bri­tain, Ire­land, Den­mark, Fin­land, Nor­way, Swe­den, the Nether­lands, France, Ger­many, Aus­tria, Bel­gium, Lux­em­bourg and Switzer­land.

Con­sumers can sign up to be alerted when Net­flix is available on net­flix.com.
