Internet television breakthrough
The world’s leading internet television subscription service is set to be launched in New Zealand in March.
Netflix offers original series, movies, documentaries and television shows for a monthly price. Original series available at the time of the launch include Marco Polo, BoJack Horseman and All Hail King Julien.
The service will be available at on televisions, tablets and smartphones, computers and a range of Internet-capable game consoles and set-top boxes.
With more than 53 million members, Netflix is the world’s leading internet television network.
The inclusion of New Zealand and Australia will bring the number of countries and territories using Netflix service to more than 50.
Netflix is available to members in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Britain, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Consumers can sign up to be alerted when Netflix is available on netflix.com.
