Judgeford’s No 1 interclub golf team walked away with seven points after a topsy-turvy match against Paraparaumu at Shandon on Saturday.

The biggest win for Judgeford was registered by Ben Cribb in the No 2 position. He overcame Jimmy Moore 5/4 in the singles.

Judgeford’s four ball play in the morning didn’t go to plan, and they lost to Paraparaumu 4-1.

Benjamin Duflou and partner Garth Lippitt won the solitary point, beating Jamie Cameron Elers 4/3.

The afternoon was a different story, and Judgeford roared back to take the singles 6-4. Cribb, Lippitt, Alastair Crump, Kiki Maepu and Dane Crawford all won, and Brent Walton and Duflou ended their matches all square.

The result gives Judgeford 10 points in the overall standings and fifth place, ahead of Paraparaumu and Shandon.
