Pulse go down second time
The Pulse crashed to their second successive defeat of the 2015 ANZ Championship netball season when they lost to the Queensland Firebirds 52-46 at Te Rauparaha Arena on Sunday evening.
Despite the vociferous support of a large home crowd, the Pulse trailed throughout, though only by 23-21 at halftime.
For the Pulse, defenders Kate Grant and Ama Agbeze worked hard against 1.96m shooter Romelda Aiken, who missed eight shots.
However, Pulse shooters Irene van Dyk and Jodi Brown were not accurate enough, and the pressure told late in the game as the visitors got on top.
