Can­nons Creek at cricket

A group of 21 pupils from Can­nons Creek School at­tended the World Cup cricket match be­tween South Africa and United Arab Emi­rates at West­pac Sta­dium on March 12.

The chil­dren were taken to Porirua Rail­way Sta­tion by pri­vate ve­hi­cles, then caught the train into the sta­dium.

The train was paid for by Bryan Framp­ton at ITM Tawa, who en­cour­ages the use of public trans­port by schools.

South Africa won the match hand­somely.
