Pathway leads to family fun
Walks on the hour
Plimmerton Rotary’s fun walk along its pathway – Te Ara Piko – takes place on April 26.
The walk will be a promotion of the pathway, to make more people aware of it.
Start times are on the hour from 8am till 3pm.
The walk will start at the Lighthouse Cinema car park, just over the small bridge in Pauatahanui Village.
The walk is easy and can be enjoyed by all family members. It is relaxing and passes through Pauatahanui Village before meandering through the scenic beauty of the inlet.
Further along, at Motukaraka Point, there will be fun activities, displays, spot prizes, refreshment and food at the rest area.
Highlights for the children will be free train rides in Lofty, a miniature train, and Bouncy Castle turns on the Monster Truck bouncy castle.
