Po­lice hunt Para­pa­raumu man

Po­lice are on the look­out for a Para­pa­raumu man who broke his bail con­di­tions fol­low­ing a do­mes­tic in­ci­dent.

Lau­rence Kere­homa was re­quired to wear an elec­tronic mon­i­tor­ing an­klet as part of bail con­di­tions from pre­vi­ous charges. How­ever, he cut it off and left his res­i­den­tial ad­dress last week.

Kere­homa was on elec­tronic mon­i­tor­ing bail for a charge re­lat­ing to as­sault with the in­tent to in­jure.

Porirua and Kapiti po­lice are seek­ing his where­abouts and urge the public not to ap­proach him.

A war­rant for Kere­homa’s ar­rest was is­sued last week. He also failed to ap­pear in Porirua Dis­trict Court for breaching bail on April 7.
