Un­sat­is­fac­tory bus stop seat­ing

I write re­gard­ing the Count­down bus stop seat­ing in Lyt­tel­ton Ave.

Porirua City Coun­cil has not re­stored the orig­i­nal seat­ing ca­pac­ity be­cause it be­lieves there are enough seats avail­able.

How­ever, the bus stop site will be re­vamped this year mi­nus the toi­lets (which will be re­lo­cated). Just a cou­ple of points: The coun­cil alone has determined that the re­duced seat­ing is enough, so the de­ci­sion didn’t in­volve con­sul­ta­tion with any other party.

Would it have been too much ad­di­tional labour to re­store the miss­ing seats un­til the re­vamp?

When the site is re­vamped, will it re­tain the orig­i­nal seat­ing ca­pac­ity?
