Kind man in Waitangirua

Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

On Friday, June 5, between 4pm and 5pm, I was in the Waitangirua fish and chip shop and bought about $15 worth of fish and chips.

When I tried to pay with my bankcard, it was declined twice. That’s when I realised I had the wrong bankcard on me, so I went to my daughter who was sitting inside the shop waiting.

She gave me a $50 note to pay for the food. However, when I tried to give this to the shop assistant, she told me that the order had already been paid for by a gentleman who had been standing behind me in the queue.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to this gentleman. God bless him and his family.

had been demolished. I am left contemplating how our rates money is being wasted.
