‘‘We are making double the amount of Jelly Tip blocks so [everyone has] a chance to get hold of some. ’’

Whittaker’s has brought back the popular Jelly Tip block for a limited time.

In stores from yesterday, the Porirua company’s brand manager Jasmine Currie said it was back after the limited release last July had an overwhelming response, selling out within 10 days of the launch.

‘‘Since then, Whittaker’s chocolate lovers have kept asking us for more of it, so we felt it was only right to bring it back one last time,’’ Currie said.

‘‘While this is a final limited release of this popular product, this time we are making double the amount of Jelly Tip blocks so [everyone has] a chance to get hold of some.’’

The Jelly Tip block is the only Whittaker’s product that includes two types of chocolate.

The 250g block has Jelly Tipflavoured jelly, made by Whittaker’s using natural colour and flavour and is encased in vanilla ice cream-flavoured white chocolate on a 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk chocolate base.

As with all Whittaker’s products, the Jelly Tip block is produced in Whittaker’s Porirua factory in Elsdon and is qualityassured through their signature bean to bar process, Currie said.

‘‘We are constantly developing new chocolate flavours for our loyal customers, and it’s great to surprise them with new flavours,’’ she said.
