FROM THE EDITOR
It’s spring! Not that you would know it, however.
Since September 1 I feel like I have had the heater cranking and worn more layers than in winter.
Last week was a bizarre sight with hail coating the CBD paths and gardens and filling up the awnings.
I also felt for the team at The Little Goat who were in the middle of the chaos all alone, but then swamped by customers when the weather brightened up.
But despite the crazy weather, it is spring. And this week we have a great gardening column about how to grow flowers from seeds, P28.
We also continue our local election coverage with profiles on the 13 candidates in the Northern ward, P6. They are vying for just four seats and there is only one incumbent.
Voting documents will be delivered from September 16 to 21.
I encourage you to engage with the elections and have your say.
