Fancy an All Black jersey signed by Christian Cullen, Ardie Savea’s boots or Jarryd Hayneautographed Titans jersey? Better check Trade Me, then. Porirua resident Paul Latham, who has a number of contacts in the sporting industry, has collected 20 pieces of sporting memorabilia to auction.

The proceeds will go towards the Ahuru Mowai Charitable Trust, established in August by Latham, wife Mandy and Carla Gardiner to provide support and respite for children with autism and special needs.

The trust have their sights firmly locked on a property in Pauatahanui as a safe haven for special needs children, which they hope to secure by November.

The Lathams’ son Isaac, 16, was diagnosed with severe autism, ADHD and dyspraxia at 2.

Paul Latham said he had a few sporting memorabilia items already himself, but when he reached out to contacts for auction items, the response was overwhelming.

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart runs a foundation that supports autistic children so a Raiders NRL Auckland Nines top, signed by the squad, was soon winging its way to New Zealand.

Latham has also got his hands on an All Black jersey signed by Cullen and embroidered with the legendary fullback’s career stats, and a jersey worn by Sean Maitland when he played for Scotland against South Africa in 2014.

‘‘We’’ve been incredibly lucky, some of these items are fantastic, real collectors’ items,’’ Latham said.

For the non-rugby union fans there is a 2014 Wellington Phoenix shirt and a rugby league Gold Coast Titans jumper from Jarryd Hayne. All items are signed by either the entire team it represents or by the player.

Hurricanes fan favourite Ardie Savea donated a pair of boots, graced by the livewire flanker’s signature.

However, Latham thinks the piece de resistance is four, framed rugby shirts being sold as a single auction he has dubbed ‘‘The Road to the Final’’.

It features a top from each team the Hurricanes beat in the playoffs on their way to the 2016 title - the Sharks, Chiefs and Lions - and a Hurricanes shirt signed by All Blacks Dane Coles and Beauden Barrett.

Trade Me have agreed to waive the fees for the auctions. Search for ‘‘Ahuru Mowai’’ to find the auctions.
