Last year I was beset with injuries that kept me on the couch and away from one of my favourite pastimes - playing sport.
To get back into it this year, I decided to enter Round the Bays.
Along with many others from around the region, I have been pounding the pavement in preparation for the big day, which is now only five days away.
In the lead up to the event Rachel Grunwell has been writing about the dos and don’ts of race preparation, family exercise and the importance of stretching.
In this week’s column she takes a look at how to be prepared for race day and make sure all goes well.
