The Ka¯ piti Arts and Crafts Society has once again entered the Ka¯ piti Arts Trail with two venues, one in the Raumati Beach Village and the other at the Ka¯ piti Gallery in Matai Rd.

“We are a society that encourages experienced and emerging artists and often it is the first place their work is exhibited,” the society’s Jan Smith said.

“We do not select work but insist on work being well presented.

“From time to time we have guest artists. That introduces our gallery to the public and exposes our members to their work.

“Work must be original though usually inspired by others.”

The Arts Trail Exhibition is now open and closes November 11.

The two venues are at 192 Matai Rd, (Matai Road Reserve) and 20 Raumati Rd, Raumati Beach.

The Ka¯ piti Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm and the Society Shop daily 10am to 4pm.

On the Arts Trail weekends both venues will be open Arts Trail hours.
