• In the cen­tre of each sun­flower are hun­dreds of seeds, which birds love to eat. You can also save some seed to grow next sum­mer.

• Sun­flow­ers at­tract ben­e­fi­cial in­sects such as lacewings that eat aphids and other gar­den pests.
