Make life easy for yourself, and for bubs, with these handy tips and tricks.

Necklines

In those early weeks, cross-over kimonostyle bodysuits and tops work best as they don’t have to be pulled over baby’s head, which makes it easier for both bubs and new parents. This also goes for envelope necks, which are designed to make it easy to take off, down the body, rather than over their heads when things get messy.

Onesies

The classic onesie is the perfect starting point for your baby’s outfits. Body suits that fasten between the legs keep baby warm as they don’t ride up and leave tummies bare. And full grow suits, especially ones with zips from the feet up, are great for day and night and are easy to get in and out of.

Covered feet and hands

Keep little feet warm with pants and onesies, complete with booties or foldover feet. This saves you from having to dress baby in socks or booties that always seem to fall off and get lost. Some onesies also have the turn-over mittens for the early days, to stop bubs scratching herself.

Cardigans

Open-front cardigans are the best option for warm layers, as you avoid having to pull items over bub’s head.
