There is so much to think about when choosing childcare: How far do I want to travel? How much am I willing to spend? What will they eat? What will they do all day? Is socialising with other kids more important than having one-on-one time with an adult? Do they need structured play? And the biggest one: Who can I trust to ensure my child is safe? The list goes on and on. Starting the hunt for childcare, parents don’t always know what to look for, which can lead to hasty and regrettable decisions. It’s important to know what you want out of your childcare, and to make sure it aligns with your values as parents.
