Plenty on in city to en­joy for May

I hope you've been en­joy­ing the great ac­tiv­i­ties and events we have had in the re­gion over the last month.

May is al­ways an ex­cit­ing month with Massey grad­u­ates cel­e­brat­ing their suc­cesses in The Square and a range of events tak­ing place through­out the city in con­junc­tion with New Zealand Mu­sic Month.

• The Moscow Bal­let la Clas­sique is back for 2018 with a per­for­mance of the clas­sic bal­let, The Nutcracker .La Clas­sique with its artis­tic bal­let mas­tery, lav­ish cos­tumes and mag­nif­i­cent stage sets, takes the au­di­ence on a jour­ney back in time to the frost-covered, gas-lit world of Clara, her beloved Nutcracker doll and the ma­gi­cian Drosselmeyer. This show is on tonight from 7:30pm – 10pm at the Re­gent on Broad­way with tick­ets avail­able from the tick­et­ing of­fice or www.tick­et­di­rect.co.nz

• Make your way down to Arena Manawatu this week­end to check out the Women's Life­style Expo. With more than 140 stalls of­fer­ing ev­ery­thing from beauty prod­ucts to travel to food and wine, this two-day event is one not to be missed. Grab your tick­ets from the door which will be open from 10am to 5pm Satur­day and Sun­day.

• Cafe´ Ex­press is host­ing the Al­liance Franc¸ aise Quiz Night. Teams of four to six par­tic­i­pants will be tasked with an­swer­ing cin­ema-based ques­tions with prizes up for grabs.

A shared din­ner plat­ter is in­cluded with your ticket which can be pur­chased from Al­liance Franc¸ aise in the Square Edge build­ing.

• Fans of Westlife and Boy­zone are in for a treat this month as for­mer mem­bers Brian McFad­den and Keith Duffy com­bine to bring Boy­zlife to the Re­gent on Broad­way. The pair will be per­form­ing a range of hits from their
