Plenty on in city to enjoy for May

May is always an exciting month with Massey graduates celebrating their successes in The Square and a range of events taking place throughout the city in conjunction with New Zealand Music Month.

• The Moscow Ballet la Classique is back for 2018 with a performance of the classic ballet, The Nutcracker .La Classique with its artistic ballet mastery, lavish costumes and magnificent stage sets, takes the audience on a journey back in time to the frost-covered, gas-lit world of Clara, her beloved Nutcracker doll and the magician Drosselmeyer. This show is on tonight from 7:30pm – 10pm at the Regent on Broadway with tickets available from the ticketing office or www.ticketdirect.co.nz
• Make your way down to Arena Manawatu this weekend to check out the Women's Lifestyle Expo. With more than 140 stalls offering everything from beauty products to travel to food and wine, this two-day event is one not to be missed. Grab your tickets from the door which will be open from 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday.
• Cafe´ Express is hosting the Alliance Franc¸ aise Quiz Night. Teams of four to six participants will be tasked with answering cinema-based questions with prizes up for grabs.
A shared dinner platter is included with your ticket which can be purchased from Alliance Franc¸ aise in the Square Edge building.
