New sign to promote St John shop

Manawatu Guardian - - NEWS -

St John Palmerston North Area is waiting for the tick to erect their sign on Rangitikei Line north of the city.

The organisation’s area committee deputy chairman Brian Crothers met with landowner Andrea O’Donnell who has given a place on the site for the sign.

“St John gives so much to the community and it’s great for them to promote their services,” said Andrea.

Brian said the sign will help to promote the St John shop on Broadway, which supports other community programmes.

“There’s also the St John Caring Caller programme, Friends of the Emergency Department at Palmerston North Hospital, St John youth programmes, St John in Schools youth programmes, and we also support the St John Ambulance service.

“St John will also be looking to erect signs at other entrances to Palmerston North,” said Brian.
