More than just mowing the lawn

Manawatu Guardian - - PEOPLE WHO MEAN BUSINESS -

Spring has sprung, and oh boy has the grass riz. In fact, it’s going to keep rizzing through until May next year. You’re going to need to keep it mowed. But why stop there, when Mr Green can provide a multi-faceted property maintenance onestop shop like no other. The diverse skills of the friendly people at Mr Green mean that they’ve got all the bases covered.

“We can pretty much do anything people want us to,” says Mr Green area manager Dave McLeod — and they can do it all over the Manawatu¯, from Palmerston North, Ashhurst and Linton to Longburn, Bunnythorpe and Feilding.

Mr Green employs people who know what they’re doing in gardens: It’s so much more than just lawn-mowing. They can take on water blasting, tree trimming, rose pruning and even detailed landscaping, among many other things.

Dave’s been with the business for over 22 years now. He knows that his clients value his service taking care of their sections.

“It’s quite important to spend a bit of time with customers,” he says, “maybe have a cup of tea with them.”

Making time for a chat is all part of the Mr Green service.

Contractors may specialise in a particular area, but they’re trained to keep an eye out for anything else that might need doing — maybe some spouting that needs clearing, or perhaps a potentially problematic tree-branch. It’s a good way of letting people know that Mr Green is about more than just lawns.

The concept of the one-stop-shop has proven popular over the years: when Dave started with the business there were only two people, now there are over 13. With each new person who joins the team, they add their skill to what Mr Green offers which in turn provides flowon benefits to the customer.

It’s pretty simple, really. Mr Green can take care of all your property maintenance needs.
