Fam­ily friendly Ceilidh

Manawatu Guardian - - PEOPLE WHO MEAN BUSINESS -

A group of lo­cal mu­si­cians, or­gan­ised by For­rest Cham­bers, are run­ning a fundrais­ing ceilidh to help re­unite refugee fam­i­lies in Palmer­ston North. For­rest and his friends will run the mu­si­cal side of things, and call the danc­ing. There will be two dance ses­sions with a sup­per break in between. It will be a fam­ily friendly event and no ex­pe­ri­ence is re­quired as the dance moves will be ex­plained through­out the evening. En­try is $5/per­son or fam­ily $10 and can be paid on the door. Pro­ceeds to Manawatu¯ Re­unit­ing Refugee Fam­i­lies Trust. Please bring a plate of fin­ger food for sup­per. Tea/ cof­fee and soft drinks will be pro­vided. St James’ School Hall, Satur­day, Novem­ber 17, 7.30pm.
