The peace protest brought many to Palmerston North to march against the New Zealand Defence Industry Association Forum, dubbed a weapons expo.

Palmerston North City Council councillor Brent Barrett speaks to the marchers.

At rear is Peace Action Manawatu¯ spokesman Teanau Tuiono and Maruna Engu who said he was on the march to support PAM and bring colour while drawing attention to the people of the Pacific whose islands are threatened by climate change.
