Lest we forget
At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, 100 years on from World War I, the Palmerston North Armistice Day Service will be held at the cenotaph in The Square. Sunday’s service will last about 45 minutes.
Hudson and Halls on stage

Run like the wind
Now the weather is warmer, it’s time for the annual Manawatu¯ Striders Ashhurst to Esplanade race, on Sunday November 18. The 21.1-kilometre course starts at the Ashhurst Domain, the 12km at Winstone Aggregates Depot on Te Matai Rd and the 3km at the Bridle Track at the end of Albert St. The longer event is at 8.30am and the shorter two at 9.30am.
