Let’s hand it to Adams

-

Steven Adams had played a big hand in helping his Oklahoma City Thunder side beat the Houston Rockets yesterday. The Kiwi NBA star got his massive right hand to a Rockets inbound pass with 3.4 seconds to go which put off the Rockets’ Gerald Green to the point where he fumbled the ball out of bounds. The Thunder were up by three points at that point, so the intervention prevented the Rockets from getting up a potential game-tying threepoint shot. Instead, Paul George made two free-throws down the other end to ice the 117-112 win in Houston. It was an otherwise quiet night for Adams, who had six points, nine rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes on the court.
