Pa­p­a­toe­toe stands out in red seat

Na­tional won the Omana Kinder­garten lo­ca­tion, but only by six votes.

There were three other vot­ing lo­ca­tions that could have gone to ei­ther Labour or Na­tional in the party vote

But in 2014 those three only just went to Labour:

Pa­p­a­toe­toe Cen­tral Pri­mary School:

37 vote ma­jor­ity. Labour got 278 votes out of 632 votes cast.

Pa­p­a­toe­toe School: In­ter­me­di­ate

55 vote ma­jor­ity. Labour got 277 out of the 625 votes cast.

32 vote ma­jor­ity. Labour got 156 out of the 350 votes cast.

Pa­p­a­toe­toe also saw some of the big­gest vote num­bers for New Zealand First in the elec­torate.
