Return of Ota¯huhu Food Festival
The ta¯huhu Food Festival is back for the third year and is bigger than ever.
Head down to the Mainstreet for a day of music, family activities and a whole lot of great food.
‘‘This will be our biggest year yet, with well over 100 stalls ... we even have a waiting list for stallholders,’’ ta¯huhu Business Association manager Richette Rodger says.
‘‘We are calling people who love all things food to come on over and celebrate all the diverse ethnic foods.’’
The lineup of performers includes Mal Lakatini, Makaa, Isreal Starr, Mikey Mayz, Swiss and Che Fu.
Visitors can look forward a range of cuisines in vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan meal options.
Donut Express’ client event manager, Lisa Buchanan says they are ‘‘very excited’’ about this annual event.
‘‘The event is the perfect opportunity to showcase new menu items. Our fresh hot donut will be available for the entire event.‘‘
