been suffering from a heavy cold.
Drysdale and fellow Kiwi Robbie Manson were both entered in the men’s single sculls class at Linz, with Manson having the fastest qualifying time in the heats on Friday, which were run in a time trial format.
The NZ duo are battling for selection in the single scull for this year’s world championships to be held in Bulgaria in September.

Manson had the upper hand over the NZ summer regattas as Drysdale continues to struggle to find his best form following a long layoff after he won his second successive Olympic gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
