Marlborough Midweek - - OUT & ABOUT -

Don’t forget the big parade in Picton tonight to welcome America’s Cup champions Emirates Team New Zealand to the top of the South. The crew, including local hero and Olympian Joseph Sullivan, are set to arrive on an Interislander ferry at 6pm for a parade through town. They would get a police escort when they arrived off the ferry to the starting point of the parade, outside the Picton police station. There would also be a flotilla of boats to welcome the ferry into the harbour. Organisers were expecting a big turn out, and promised lots of action for all ages to enjoy. The parade is the only Cup parade in the top of the South.
